Despite these setbacks, we weren’t ready to give up. We decided to shift our focus and try something different. We rented an apartment at 100 Pembroke Street on a short-term basis. This marked the beginning of the company’s growth and a stronger presence in the market.

The process of taking them to court in Toronto is time-consuming, costly, and stressful, so we had to stay resilient. At one point, a loan from the bank helped us cover the expenses and continue paying the landlords, even when things weren’t going smoothly. The losses were tough, but we stayed focused on the bigger picture. Despite the financial issues, the company has always paid its landlords the rent on time. In its 20 years of history, the rent has never been late, and this really makes us proud. It’s a testament to our resilience and dedication to fulfilling our obligations.
